I teach kindergarten through fifth grade students with special needs. The students in our class have various disabilities. Some are physically challenged while others are cognitively impaired and require specialized instruction to master skills.

All of our students have fallen in love with reading. They are excited about being able to read books independently during in class as they master basic reading skills and learn to identify many sight words in print.

During class we face a unique situation because the students have read the majority of books in our classroom library. Additional books are needed to keep them interested in reading and excited about practicing the literacy skills they are learning each day in class.

Your help with this project will ensure that our students continue to develop literacy skills and read independently each day in class.
