Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds, including English language learners, special education students, gifted and talented, each with his or her own special needs. In our school, over 50% of the students receive free and reduced lunches.

The main obstacle I face is to provide my students with hands-on materials in order to make them successful in Math. The concept of probability is a difficult concept for most of my students, especially my English Language Learners.

The probability and statistics kit gives students the added boost they need in order to understand how probability works. Learning this concept will help my students for many years to come.

Please consider donating to our project as you will help ensure that my students individual learning needs are met. You will make it possible for them to be well-rounded individuals with a real love for Math.
