I am an elementary Physical Education teacher at a Title One school. Our school is K-6 and the students come to Physical Education 2 to 3 times per week. The time ranges from 80 minutes to 125 minutes per week. I also serve 3 self-contained CDC classes, grades K-5.

Cup stacking Rocks! I would love to have the Sport Pack 15 to use as a station during P.E. time. We have added a part-time P.E. teacher at our school this year, so we share the gym three days a week. This means we have two classes at a time and they are not the same grade level. This has been a challenge this year and we are looking to find activities that can be done in another room or out in our hallway.

Cup stacking is that kind of activity! We can set it up anywhere in our building and the kids will have fun working on hand/eye coordination and competing against one another. Sport stacking helps students develop bilateral proficiency equal performance on both sides of the body. By increasing bilateral proficiency, a student develops a greater percentage of the right side of the brain, which houses awareness, focus, creativity and rhythm. Stacking helps train the brain for sports and other activities where the use of both hands is important, such as playing a musical instrument or using the computer. Sequencing and patterning are also elements of sport stacking, which can help with reading and math skills. Help me help my students with hand/eye coordination by providing a Sport Pack 15!
