My students need to be exposed to current events and world culture. I am requesting a class set of "Time for Kids" magazine subscriptions so that I can read this weekly with them and they can also share it with their families. My students also need this projector for our classroom.

Do you care about the future of our country? My students and I sure do! I teach in a Title 1 school that has a high rate of free/reduced lunch. There is an 80% rate of minority students with over half of them living below the poverty line. I love my job, and I want to make their experience the best it can possibly be!

One day, I was lucky enough to have access to a portable LCD projector. I had created 3 different power point presentations on my computer to teach them reading, writing, and math for the day. When I tell you that I had my students HOOKED from the start, I mean it! The students who are normally quiet or have a hard time staying focused were the stars of my lesson! I felt like a great teacher that day. Everyday since, they have been asking when we can do that again.

Hopefully, your donation can aide us in that request! I am requesting an LCD projector for my classroom so that we can bring my students barreling in to the 21st century. My students have also taken a great interest in Time for Kids. It is a wonderful resource to teach them about current events and offer an interdisciplinary approach to reading.

Your help will ensure that my students learn to the fullest extent. All students are different kinds of learners. Some students are auditory learners, some kinesthetic learners. The majority of my students are visual learners, and your donation would help ensure that my students are learning to the best of their abilities. Thank you.
