My students need batteries, tissue paper, beads, pipe cleaners and markers to create hot air balloons.

Our students are 8th graders, I teach science, and am going to introduce flight as a means of teaching Newton's laws of motion. We are a high concentration of low income students. We are a Title 1 school. We are rural community in Kentucky.

I love teaching physics. Newton's Laws are so very applicable to our everyday life. Our students have had many experiences - now they can apply the Laws of Motion to each individual situation. I love it when the light bulb clicks on for them, Experience backed up with understanding.

These resources we have requested, Tissue Paper, pipe cleaners, and batteries will be used to create Hot air balloons. Students will demonstrate their understanding of Newton's Laws through this hands on learning experience.

You are an integral part of our students education. Your support of our youth in education is a profound way of ensuring the health and well-being of each of our futures.
