Rain, Rain, Go Away, Come again another day, but when? Students in my fourth grade science class are excited to discover what the clouds tell us and how they can use that information to predict the weather.

Students want to know when they will be able to go outside and play kickball, or fly a kite, or build a snowman. How will they know? They will learn about air and precipitation around them which will influence their lives daily.

With a weather station, weather instruments, activities, visuals, and weather DVDs they will be able to predict the weather. They will learn about air and precipitation around them which will influence their lives daily. If they see cirrus clouds, they will learn there will be a change in the weather. What does it mean if the barometer shows the air pressure has gone up or down? With a weather station to show the temperature, pressure, etc. students can become amateur meteorologists.

You will make it possible for my students to have hands on experience predicting, measuring, and understanding the weather they interact with each day. The sky is the limit!
