The population and the family incomes of my school district are extremely diverse. I am the library media specialist at a middle school catering to seventh and eighth grade students, and our campus has an increasing student body on the free and reduced lunch program.

With budgetary cut backs and families in need, it is difficult to purchase extra supplies to help produce student projects.

My students would like to be able to create movies for their projects. This will enable them to work in any classroom situation, and use cutting edge technology. I am requesting 2 Flip cameras and 2 camera bags with battery chargers, SanDisks, and the needed cables. Students can use this equipment in their classrooms for their finished works.

Your help will make it possible for my students to take ownership of their learning environment, and it will give them pride in their finished product.
