Binding Our Ideas

My students need a book binding machine with the plastic binding sheets to help to capture their ideas. My students also need Dr. Jean songs to keep them engaged throughout the day.

I am currently a second year kindergarten teacher, working in a World Language Academy. It is imperative that my students have the proper resources to stay competitive with their peers. I want my students' to gain a love for reading and writing. We want to work together to capture their ideas and to ensure that the students can keep a record of it.

Many of my students tend to show interest when their ideas are captured in books and they can refer back to their own work. The music will help let their ideas flow and create a calm and engaging environment.

A book binding machine and materials will allow my students to see their ideas put together to highlight their passion for reading. This will help my students see themselves as authors and illustrators and continue to grow their love for writing. Music will allow my class to engage in learning and to differentiate for all the various learners in my classroom.

You will make it possible for my students to become authors and illustrators. This equipment will allow my students to become published writers at such a young age and foster their love for reading and writing.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
