While we may not have all the resources as other schools, our students and families make our school a beautiful place.
Donorschoose helped my students get some amazing, culturally relevant literature. Finally, we have books that we can identify with and get excited about! (Thank you!) Now we need a bookshelf to them organized. Once we have this bookshelf and these bookends, we will be able to keep our culturally relevant books organized, and we will be able to establish a check-out system so students can borrow the books to take home and read as homework. (They love sharing these books with their families! Yea family literacy!) We are so grateful to Donorschoose for helping us to get these awesome books. Donate to the project today and help us get a bookshelf to keep them on! Your help will allow us to establish a bona fide classroom library. Having this library will strengthen the culture of reading in my classroom. Your donation helps my students in their quest to become avid readers and successful students. THANK YOU!
