"Can you help us catch the technology fever with a Netbook? We are a group of second grade students who love to blog and learn about the world around us. We would love to have access to a Netbook in our classroom.

A Netbook would allow us to do research in our class and have questions answered right away. Then we could blog about what we learned!!! We love to read and want to keep that enthusiasm going. Since we are reading to learn, the Netbook creates many teachable moments for us.

We're depending on you to help us "Catch a Netbook!" This will enable us to learn lots of interesting concepts at the spur of the moment and write about it using our classroom blog.

Thanks for helping us make this possible!

My students need a Netbook so they can access and post their learning online.

My students need a Netbook computer.

Dear Roxann, HP and Anonymous Donors,
The second grade students are using the netbook(s) to do research online, practice spelling in a fun way, blog about their learning, collaborate with classes around the world, and much, much more. The netbooks are helping the students become excited about their learning. It is opening up a window to the world.
Responsibility, commitment, and love are carried on throughout a person's life....100 fold.
It is great that you are channeling the triad in a beneficial way.

With gratitude,
Mrs. G.

Dear Roxann, HP and Anonymous Donors,

Wow! We are ecstatic to receive your donation that allows us to receive an Acer Aspire Netbook!!!! The students are using technology to blog, reinforce spelling, listen to stories online, and do research. With your help, we can now access these tools in our classroom.
Words cannot express our gratitude. Our theme this year is "Learning Rocks." With your help, you reeaaally will make our "Learning Rock!"

With gratitude,
Mrs. G.

"It is great when a child can learn about responsibility and practice it throughout their life. Though in some cases people don't learn this until much later. Unfortunately this does affect others most often in a negitive way. Commitment is made when a person is honest with their feelings. Hence it is good to be true to thine self. Love is an emotional state of the heart. An emotion that is profound and hard to explain but when it is real, nothing can change it. My hope is that you can instill these three intense words and their meanings in the children that you instruct. Lead with a pure heart and they will learn. ALWAYS:) "How I have always been I shall always be""
