No more leftovers! No more leftovers! My students deserve the best, just like the rest! I teach a third grade class from a rural, high poverty area in Missouri. My salary is funded through Title I. Our school district is great, but funds are very limited. I was hired right before school started due to enrollment numbers being higher than expected. Because of that, our class was given many of the leftover desks and chairs that the other teachers did not want. Our desks wobble and are uneven. Our chairs are all different and some are even broken. My students enjoy sitting in groups and doing collaborative work, but it's really difficult with our antiquated desks. It's like trying to put together a puzzle with all the wrong pieces. We want tables! Big spacious tables would allow my students to work in groups and have plenty of personal space to achieve their goals. Science experiments! Writing and language projects! Research projects! Hands-on math activities! Art! The possibilities are endless! Please help. Your donation will help tear down the obstacles that are limiting the students' educational environment. You will make it possible for these students to have opportunities to really experience how fun learning can be. Help us think outside the box, by eliminating our boxes entirely. Thank you!
