My students need 32 thesauruses and a globe to better understand geography and location, as well as how to read a map.

We are a class of 30 students in 5th grade! Our school is very large for our district. We have 9 fifth grade classes. The school itself houses only 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.

Learn it out! We have just realized that there are many more words out there to help us make our writing more interesting. The only problem is that we can't all use the computer thesaurus all the time, and we are uncertain how to use a thesaurus. We also have not a single globe in our classroom.

We need thesaurus' for each student so that we are able to learn how to use them in our everyday writing to make it sound more interesting. We also would like to have a globe, so that we can better understand the point of latitude, longitude, time zones and seasons.

Your help will ensure that the students in this class are able to use their creative abilities by expanding their vocabulary. Their writing will become much more interesting to read because you have given them access to the WIDE world of vocabulary. They will also be able to better understand the reason's for the seasons, latitude, longitude and time zones better because of your assistance.
