I am a 4th year teacher. I teach in the heart of the city. We teach several students from the local homeless shelter. Last year I taught 1st grade, and this year I was able to loop with several of my students and now I am their 2nd grade teacher.

After taking a look at the data, most of my students are fluent readers. However the data shows that over 60% of my students are struggling with reading comprehension. That means, sure they can read but they don't know what they read about.

That is where your help can come in! I am asking for your support to get reading comprehension activities into their hands. With your support they will not just be great readers! They will also know what they just read about!!

Please support a good cause. Please help my students become well rounded readers. Please help my students this year and for years to come understand what they have read!
