My students need a camera to direct and produce their own documentaries to be aired at a local TV station.

I have been teaching Media Artz for 4 years. A lot of the student work has been accepted at local video festivals and have been used as educational resources. We will be working in collaboration with a local station to air their documentaries.

Our old camera is broken. We have editing capabilities, but we need the camcorder to film. We have been using still photography cameras at the moment, but are limited in what we can do.

A new camera would allow the students to learn production skills to tell their stories through video. The camera will be used by students in the Media Artz class.
