The school I was placed at has very few technology resources for teachers. I have previously been fortunate enough to receive donations from DonorsChoose. Unfortunately, the donations I received require a television and DVD player. My school does not have either of these things available to me. These are important tools to assist my special needs student and lower learners to better understand concepts using their auditory and visual senses.

I am in need of a television to use my new document camera and microscope. It will also allow me to display pictures and information from the Internet off our computer. I am also in need to a DVD/VHS player to utilize the science movies I have previously received. The stand will allow for the TV to be mobile in the classroom and let me store the equipment in a secure area.

Your donation of the television and DVD/VHS player will give my students another learning tool in the classroom. I think it is important the students have many different ways to learn. Science videos are just one of many tools that help students learn in a different way. The television and DVD/VHS player will be especially beneficial to my special needs students who work best with audio and visual aids. HIDE
