My students need 2 transparency laser film for printers, two three-whole punchers, 1 dry erase cleaner kit, 1 stapler, 1 set of reversible color file folders, and 2 expo organizers.

My mom always taught me that when times get tough, the little things will help you get through the roughest times. I am a 7th grade teacher and my students are feeling the effects of the current recession. With school copies and paper supplies running low, each day has become more challenging in giving my students a quality education. I believe whole-heartedly that if we have these small essentials occupying our classroom during daily activity, that I can continue to give my students the education they rightfully deserve in preparation of their educational destiny.

Paper shortage, copy deprivation, political constraints are critical and devastating factors that burden my students everyday. It also drains the pockets of teachers and administrators. When we do not have, we use and do what we can, to DO. My students are obligated and should be able to look to me as a bridge that connects them to their future. However, no bridge in this world has been built without the help of a collective group operating under the same intentional vision.

We need expo markers to write for our future , dry-erasers to correct out mistakes,transparencies to take the place of paper, staplers to keep our work organized and bound together,and most importantly love from donors who believe in our future as leaders of the world.

My hope is that those who are able will donate to such a worthy cause. We are not asking for the world, but rather asking for the materials to prepare us for what the world has to offer. Afterall,a little goes a long way!
