I teach preschool in a mostly special needs school. My classroom is general education, but we do have some children with special needs. We also have children visit our class from other parts of the school.

My students love painting, and they would love the opportunity to paint beautiful watercolor paintings and canvas paintings to share with their parents. They paint nearly everyday as it is now, but we do not have access to these types of materials.

In order to work on these painting projects with my students, we need assorted colors of water color paints, water color paper, tempera cakes and canvases. The benefits of this project are endless. The children will be able to express their creativity by experimenting with assorted techniques of water color painting such as painting, spraying, splattering and using droppers. They will also create a painting on their canvas that they can display and take pride in.
