"Hello!! We are a high need high poverty school in need of some reading supplies!! We are located in a LARGE URBAN AREA in northern California. We are so excited to begin the new school year! We are so cute and smart! We have hopes and dreams of being anyone we dream to be. Our school has been hit really hard, as with our state going bankrupt we as a high poverty school have NO funding of any kid. We are asking today for your blessing and a tax deductible donation towards our learning. The solution is simple. Since we are so smart we are on our way to learning how to read. We need some extra supplies that will make it a reality. We are looking to enhance our library with some fabulous ABC books and some Cd's that make learning fun, and also some nursery rhymes that help us memorize chanting and rhyming. With your help we will be on our way!! WHOOHOO!! The solution is in your hands. As our teacher with her new baby spends all her own money in the classroom, she has had to slim down (literally) on money she spends on the classroom to spend on her baby. She wants us to have everything as she loves us very much. We all some difficulties in life, but at school we forget our challenges and focus on breathing and being in a safe place to learn how to read. Your donation towards extra supplies will make such an impact on our learning. Please donate what you can and make it even more special to learn! Dear Louise, Sara, and Ezra,
I want to thank you all sooooo much!! Thank you for believing in public education and donating to a high need high poverty area where every donation is always needed and the children appreciate are so appreciative of every little thing. My students have come from very hard lives and every donation they get means so much to them. When they open the box there is audible screams of excitement. We are so happy to get such a wonderful donation! This will help us read better, and believe in ourselves. Just know that your donation makes the world of difference to all these children in need. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The children are goign to be so excited to use and listen to all their new reading supplies!!! Just know as you walk through this year and the next, know in your heart you helped children in a high poverty school with no PTA, no extra funding, but you , you did it!!!
