My students need map resources including a US and world map starter. Landforms and Mapping Bingo, dry erase markers, and a write and wipe globe.

I am a Second Grade teacher at a bilingual public school in our nation's capital. In my class I have 22 students, half of which are native Spanish speakers.

Imagine pulling for a world map in front of 22 six and seven year old students, but all that pulls down is a broken projector screen! Besides the laughter that quickly followed, I saw many disappointed faces when they could not go up to the map to point out the places where their families came from.

My class needs your help in getting the appropriate tools to become world class citizens. I hope that with your help, I can provide my students with a pull down world map & US map, a write and wipe globe, and a landforms BINGO game.

By donating to this project, you will ensure that my students are surrounded by our world everyday. In class, I will use the maps not just during Social Studies, but during Science, Language Arts, and Math!
