My students need an Ipod Nano, a CD player/MP3 docking station and 8 movie titles, including "August Rush" and "The Wizard of Oz".

I teach reading to two classes of 3rd grade students in a lower socio-economic school.

Just like anyone else our 3rd graders love music. While their song selections may vary they can always gain an understanding of reading through lyrics. Unfortunately our resources to supply a variety of appropriate music is limited. Through these familiar songs we can allow them to further advance their reading skills.

We need an Ipod Nano, a docking station and familiar music to 'read with lyrics'. Through these resources we will encounter new and varied experiences.

Your help with this project will allow students with limited resources and experience to gain a true understanding and love for reading through music.
