Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

It takes myself and my lovely 2nd graders, ten minutes to distribute important papers! Help us to cut the time in half and spend our extra time on learning! I teach in a high-poverty school district where 80% of my students are English Language Learners.

My students need to learn all of the curriculum as well as how to speak English fluently. This means we have to use every minute of our day for learning!

Having the Cubby Shelves will give us a few extra minutes to accomplish our goals while also efficiently distributing the important papers that must go home each day. The added resource of Cubby Shelves will allow my children to independently collect their papers from the day, which I know will give us more time to continue our curriculum learning.

With your support you will add time back into our classroom! We will no longer have to spend ten minutes getting organized at the end of the day. The Cubby Shelves will allow us to have an extra five minutes, or more, of learning each day. When you add up the extra minutes we are receiving, the total is close to 900 minutes or 15 HOURS! With the extra time you are giving my classroom, my 2nd graders will accomplish their goals and will be prepared for third grade!
