These students rarely leave the county much less the state. Their comprehension of the world is very limited.
These students need an opportunity to see what else the world offers that their own limited community does not. Students have little comprehension of where countries and cities are located so they do not have a good comprehension of world events. By using these atlases students will broaden their comprehension of the world. These atlases are superior to the textbooks we use and will provide students the opportunity to see how the world is interconnected. My students will be better prepared to face the modern world with an understanding of world events if they have these atlases to assist them with understanding geography. HIDE My students need 17 copies of the National Geographic Student Atlas of the World. Mrs. T.'s Classroom:
