Now it is time to begin pushing students out of the nest by encouraging them to become independent readers. As the new school librarian, I have been charged with exciting students about reading.
My students need to learn how to effectively use the online catalog so that they can become independent library users. They also need to know how to find books and resources related to their interests. An LCD projector will allow me to demonstrate how to use our online catalog to all of the students at the same time. In addition, I will be able to create interactive lessons for the students on a variety of information literacy skills. You will make it possible for our students to become independent library users. The LCD projector will allow students to learn a variety of information literacy skills.
