I teach first grade in a neighborhood school. First grade is the year children are most excited to read and learn.

My goal as a teacher is to maintain the children's enthusiasm for reading and learning. The Read-a-Round couch would entice my students to read everyday. It would also make our classroom books easily accessible and will help keep them organized.

The students will use this Read-a-Round couch everyday during center time as they read stories to each other. I will also use it when working with a small group to increase their fluency in reading.

My project needs 1 red Read-a-Round couch. YOur help with this resource will allow me to reach my goal of making sure every child stays enthusiastic about reading.
