I teach K-8th students computer application, in a low socio-economic area. Many of the students are academically at-risk, resulting in a high drop-out rate.

Students love to see themselves in a positive atmosphere doing things productively. It would be great for them to preserve and carry that mood home through color vivid pictures.

Student will need access to a color printer to print their pictures that were taken around the school. Students that were demonstrating a kind act or just diligent at work(Caught Being Good). This will show their ability to incorporate pictures into their documents. They will be able to share not only at school but also at home. Thus maintain a positive environment by connecting home and school.

This is an ever-changing society which constantly introduces new technology. Many of our students do not have the luxury of having many of the products at home or to stay up-to-date with so many changes. As a computer application teacher, I want to teach as much of the new technology as I possibly can, so that our students will be able to function and be productive in such a high tech world.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
