I am a Speech-Language Pathologist that services preschool through grade 8 children in both general education and special education settings in a high need district.

The students will greatly benefit from these language enriching materials/resources due to the lack of supplies and funds to purchase items.

This project will benefit my students to reach their therapy goals by improving their receptive and expressive language skills and communication in the classroom. Many children have difficulty understanding when someone talks to them or asks questions and also expressing their ideas and opinions. These children with problems dealing with language have a difficult time following directions, they may have limited vocabulary, they may not talk in complete sentences, and/or they may use improper grammar when talking. These difficulties affect their educational performance.

You will have an impact on improving my students overall communication skills including fluency, articulation, and language in the educational setting. Your support will help fund materials and resources needed to service these special needs kids.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
