Anything that is donated through "donorschoose," not only benefits one class, but it benefits an entire school.
One of the major obstacles that my students face is the need to have nice and working music equipment. Las Vegas is very good at providing the new schools with new equipment, but replacement of old and broken equipment is a different story. Some of my instruments are over 15 years old and need replaced. Live music is very important for the music development in young children. I use to use the school guitar to play songs and sing with the children, but it's old and it broke last year. Now I rely more on Cd's, but I truly believe that the students are missing out. A new guitar will allow the students to get a more live and hands on approach to music. Please support this project that supports live music in all my music classrooms. This donation will benefit around 650 students and give them a more rounded music education. HIDE My students need a guitar and accessories (picks, guitar stand, guitar strap and guitar capo) in order to promote live music in the music classroom.
