Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach general music grades PreK- 8 in an urban school setting. My student population is multi-cultural and multi-lingual. This is a low income area . My students are very excited to use the keyboards in music class.

I do not have a budget. I rely on grants to fund my program. Even worse, I get the leftover computers that the classroom teachers don't want anymore, so I have a 9 year old desktop that doesn't work properly

I want a Mac computer to run my keyboard lab because it works better with a Yamaha keyboard lab. I have an old computer that is outdated and doesn't work. This does not provide the best opportunity for the students to learn because there are constant glitches in the program that need to be fixed because the computer is 9 years old.

Please, please help me get a new computer. It will put a smile on my face and big smiles on all of my students faces because the keyboard lab will run smoothly.
