My students need two Guitar Hero Wii bundles and two Dance Revolution bundles.

Help "Rock Band" my K-5th graders together by being their "Guitar Hero" by funding this project in order to "Dance, Dance Revolution"-ize this high-need, low income community.

"Dance,Dance" your way to a healthier you. My students show great interest in video games, but little interest in music/dance variety or any type of fitness. The students generally don't know how to socially interact or work as a team. Many students have slow reflexes and difficulty using fine motor skills. Several students are obese and need to be motivated to shed the excess weight.

I would like to use the Wii bundles and game systems as motivation to get the kids more interested in getting up and moving. This will also help with improving fine motor skills, reflexes, decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and social interaction. Team work and good sportsmanship are key characteristics that can be learned to help students function in the real world.

With your support, the future generation(s) could be the one to reverse the social norm of obesity, continue to make improvements in technology and take the world to the next level in alternate fuels and "green" living. Students need to be able to behave in a socially acceptable manner as well as be able to problem solve and use critical thinking skills. This project will greatly improve the students' ability to successfully perform activities of daily living as well as learn to have a healthy lifestyle. Support this project and teach the future.
