"Children always enjoy when they are able to express themselves through body movements. They are always pretending to be someone or something. I am a pre-k teacher for at-risk four-five year olds. I have 18 students in a very small classroom within a public school. The children are introduced to pre-k skills to prepare them for kindergarten and structured environments. The students learn through play in centers (math/science, writing, computer, music, dramatic play, construction play, manipulatives, art, water/sand). The children are also introduced to early literacy skills as well as self-direction.
The children always show an interest in pretending, dancing, and moving to the rhythm. We do not have many CD's that allows children to just listen to sounds and move how they feel to the beat.
The CD's will allow the children to move to the music and perform the positions on the movement cards. This also encourages the children to move and use their bodies, standing on one leg, hopping, pretending to be a monkey, butterfly, etc. The CD's and movement cards will allow my students to increase their body strength, balance, and flexibility.
Your help will provide occasions for children, to move, dance, and pretend. Receiving these materials will definitely put smiles on the children's faces.
My students need 1 Ultimate Movement CD, 1 set of body movement cards and a set of Let's Get Moving Activity Mats.

Dear Trisha,
Your donation to my classroom was very thoughtful of you. The movement card set, cd, and mats that you donated are helping my students daily. This project has introduced my students to yoga, which promotes physical health and mental discipline. The exercises are safe, fun, and healthy. The students also learn about different animals.
Our school is a very small school with 300 students. Without your help, my students would not get the full development of gross motor skills or the experience of exercising in the classroom or gym.
Without donors like you, many classrooms would go without.
With gratitude, Ms. S.

Dear Trisha,
Thank you so much for your donation. I am highly grateful for your willingness to give to this project. My students will certainly enjoy moving, dancing, and acting from the materials provided. With your giving, you have helped me to incorporate something different in my classroom. This project will ongoing for many years. I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces each time we use the materials.
