Exploring literature one book at a time! I teach in a new Preschool classroom for families with a low economic status.

My students get to learn in a brand new classroom! This means we need a lot of supplies for their growing minds. I am required to have several different types of books in the class for me and the students. Also, I would like to read a minimum of five books a day. I have discovered that it is hard to do when our class library is limited on books! It would be great to be able to share more stories with my students.

I need books for all my centers. Books on tape/cd for our listening center, big books for our teacher center, books about buildings and automobiles for our blocks center, and books about other cultures and abilities to introduce the students to the world around us. The students will be able to choose a center and have books available for them everywhere they go! They will be able to open the pages and see real pictures, different traditions, and learn about our emotions. The more books you read, the more things you will learn.

You will give me the opportunity to engage students with interesting stories and help them find their love for books. Every page will have a new concept for these young learners to grasp and take with them for years to come.
