I teach English as a Second Language students as well as students who are identified as Gifted and Talented.
We recently received funding for a listening center through Donorschoose. Now we are in need of books on CD to make our classroom listening center complete. The school library does not have any books on CD. Because I have not had a listening station in my classroom until now, I do not have any books on CD. The wide variety of books on CD will give my students many opportunities to learn about different topics regardless of their reading level. I will be able to tie them in with my themes for each week. They will reinforce the topic that I am teaching that week. The books on CDs will give every student an opportunity to enjoy books whether they can read or not. This is very important at the beginning of kindergarten, when most children are unable to read. Your help will ensure that my students have many choices of books on CD to listen to. Listening to books on CD will give each student a love for reading that will last a lifetime. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of young children! HIDE My students need a variety of books on CD for our new listening station that was recently funded on Donorschoose.
