I teach 7th grade Social Studies. My classroom thrives on student engagement. Worksheets are NOT the norm! We do a lot of "out of the box" projects that get kids out of their seats and into world history.

Every student needs to "see their name in lights". But, is posting student work on a bulletin board or out in the hallway really the answer? Today's students need to share their work in a 21st century way!

With the inclusion of a Camcorder, we will be able to share our classroom projects with the world. We can post our videos on YouTube... we can share our projects with outside experts and get them involved in what's going on in our classroom without them having to leave their office.
