9-12 Students Have It Their Way - Digitally

My students need 5 digital recorders, 5 mics, and 5 MP3 players to create, edit, and publish podcast presentations.

I teach in a high-need, high poverty level area in a rural public school in Arkansas.

My students were given an opportunity to try a podcasting project and loved it. These students are preparing for college and they are going to need to understand the different technology terms being used. Podcasting is something that many college classes are using and asking students to use. Our students are excited, so all we need now is the supplies.

The resources we need are digital recorders, mp3 players and mic/headsets. This will allow students to check out the supplies and they will use the digital recorders to produce a podcast, publish the podcast to the mp3 player and listen to each students podcast with the mic/headset.

With your help of financial support my students will be able to prepare for college technology that they need to know. My students area aware of the technology that they need to use, but are not able to because of our lack of supplies. Your financial support will provide those supplies for these students and prepare them for their future in college.
