"The Pre-K students at our high poverty school would love to have a doll house and dolls. They might become future moms and dads. Moms and Dads of children who will play with your children or grandchildren.

Many of the students who attend our school live in a single parent home. I would like to demonstrate to the children thru play what a two parent family or an extended family looks like.

We are requesting a doll house and dolls to help our students learn about different types of family life. They can also learn how to share the dolls and dollhouse. The students will be engaging each other in conversation. This will increase their expressive language and vocabulary.

By funding this project you will help me make learning fun. That is my number one goal in Pre-K -- School is fun.
