Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach all four subjects to first graders in a high-need and high minority school in Oklahoma.

HELP....our pockets get cold because we have nothing warm to sit on. They are very excited about their education but they tend to get distracted with little things on the floor.

My class would like a carpet so they can stay warm and not get distracted with little things on the floor. They will be benefit by not only staying warm but they will be learning about other countries that are on the rug.

You will make it possible for my students to allow their pockets stay warm because of this carpet. Also, they will be able to see the whole world on this rug and associate where we live in conjunction with the other countries.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
