I teach first grade at a public school in NC. My students are six and seven years old. I love my job and getting to spend it with my kids. It is definitely ALWAYS a new adventure! You truly never know what will help the light come on in their little minds!
Have you ever tried to help someone learn to read? It is the most difficult task for a teacher when the student just does not hear the different sounds. Students today have so many things to take their mind OFF school so I have been looking for some FUN things to help them get motivated to learn. This year, I have students on various reading levels. They need lots of support while learning the basic skills for reading. Well, I have found the neatest thing and I just know ALL of my students would be thrilled if they could use this in the classroom.
The item I have requested, Listen and Learn Letter Sounds Program, is fantastic! Not only will my students get to hear lessons on identifying the letter that is making a particular sound for all 26 alphabet letters, but they will also have FUN while learning! Wow, do you know how exciting it will be for my struggling students to feel successful while learning sounds of the letters? I just know this program will help my students become the best readers they can be and I am determined to do anything I can to make sure that happens!
If you would like to help make it possible for my students to be the BEST reader they can be, go ahead and hit the green button! I promise the materials will be put to great use year after year while helping my precious students with their reading skills! Thank you in advance for reading my proposal!
