Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach a diverse fifth grade class in an economically disadvantaged rural area. My students are considered at risk and need a great deal of motivation.

My students eyes light up when they know that science class will begin with a BrainPop clip or PowerPoint. They love to use technology.

The addition of a Netbook to the classroom would be a great new resource for my students. It is small and compact and easy to use. Students would be able to take the Netbook to their desk and create amazing PowerPoints.

Please know that your help will make it possible for my students to feel empowered in their learning.
