I teach sixth grade science (with a special education focus). I am also a gifted and talented teacher.

I brought an old digital camera to school last year for my students to make digital photo-stories of their learning. I found that students interests were piqued and their learning was taken to the next level. They seemed to be more intrinsically motivated and wanted to learn more. (That is until the camera died of old age)

I need one digital camera my students can use to document their learning and create digital photo-stories. Students who use technology tend to be more enthusiastic about their own learning and seek deeper knowledge and understanding. Students take what they are doing in class to the next level, summarizing upon lessons/labs, reflect and LEARN!

You will make it possible for my students to broaden their learning by reflecting upon their own learning experiences and recreating these experiences through photo-stories, etc.
