I teach kindergarten in an economically depressed neighborhood in Ohio. The children that I teach have a true love for learning but are of a low ability.

I have found that my students learn very well with music and the children love to sing the catchy songs that help them to retain information.

We need an iPod Nano and a speaker docking system to be able to move from song to song and area to area. Kindergartners do not tend to wait for their teacher to find which CD the music is on and a lot of times you lose your teachable moment by having to look for the correct CD and song. If we had this system I would be able to move smoothly from song to song and never miss that teachable moment again!

You will make it possible for my students to learn these songs and eventually be able to learn their letters, numbers, addition and much, much more! Your generous donation will make a difference in these children's lives!
