My students need a document camera and speakers to learn from and create multimedia presentations.

Technology for a Luddite!!! I teach Spanish and the leadership class in an inner-city high school. We have a diverse population with various classes, races, languages and skill levels.

We have few functioning computer labs for students and the labs we have contain PC computers that don't always work. Nowadays kids are always using their phones and other technology, so I'm trying to keep up with the times!

I would like to have a document camera for class so I can replace my broken overhead projector. It is much more advanced than an overhead projector. It allows the display of any document in real time (unlike an overhead which requires some preparation). I would like to use the document camera to model writing and projects. It is also handy to correct and display student work. I am also asking for speakers, because my computer speakers are broken. It would be nice to play Spanish music for class and I would like to hook the speakers up to the LCD projector when I rent it.
