"Bringing culture into the lives of students is a must! I teach 3rd grade at an elementary school in Missouri. The students in my class are absolutely amazing. They feel the need to constantly challenge themselves to learn more, but do not have the opportunity to see anything outside of their neighborhood. Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to experience many different cultures first-hand. I love bringing culture into my classroom and my students love learning about different cultures from around the world, but are not able to experience it or dive deep with just books and pictures. I need an LCD projector to bring culture to life in my classroom. I want to use this to really show my students different cultures and give them the opportunity to experience things outside of their neighborhood and outside of text books. This LCD projector will allow me to show videos and make presentations. It will even allow my students to create presentations and videos. They will be able to share them with the school through the LCD projector. Culture is what has made America what it is today. Being able to understand and appreciate culture is an important part of being a citizen in America. You will make it possible for my students to learn about the cultures of the world and build an appreciation for all of them. You will open the minds of my students and bring culture into the classroom!

"Kids need books and teachers need lecture tools. I grew up in a well funed school district where this was never an issue and think every student should have the opportunity to learn. This is my hard earned money and I honestly don't have a lot of it. Don't let it go to waste!
