"Bringing culture into the lives of students is a must! I teach 3rd grade at an elementary school in Missouri. The students in my class are absolutely amazing. They feel the need to constantly challenge themselves to learn more, but do not have the opportunity to see anything outside of their neighborhood.

Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to experience many different cultures first-hand. I love bringing culture into my classroom and my students love learning about different cultures from around the world, but are not able to experience it or dive deep with just books and pictures.

I need an LCD projector to bring culture to life in my classroom. I want to use this to really show my students different cultures and give them the opportunity to experience things outside of their neighborhood and outside of text books. This LCD projector will allow me to show videos and make presentations. It will even allow my students to create presentations and videos. They will be able to share them with the school through the LCD projector.

Culture is what has made America what it is today. Being able to understand and appreciate culture is an important part of being a citizen in America. You will make it possible for my students to learn about the cultures of the world and build an appreciation for all of them. You will open the minds of my students and bring culture into the classroom!

My students need a LCD projector. The cost of this proposal is $1,070, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ?."

Dear Dave, Dale & Jo, Cortney, Paul, Western Container Corporation, Jeff L, gulotta, Bryan & Erica, Christopher, Micki, Michael and Anonymous Donor,
Thank you for bringing this project to life for the students in my classroom. These students work really hard and really appreciate all that is given to them. They deserve to have the same opportunities that any other student in the world has. This LCD projector is going to bring learning to life for them. I am really working on bringing more culture into my students lives and this is going make that possible. With the technologically growing society that we live in, these students need to be exposed to as much as possible.

Thank you again for making a difference in our classroom. You are the reason that one day all children will receive an excellent education.

With gratitude,
Ms. H.

"Kids need books and teachers need lecture tools. I grew up in a well funed school district where this was never an issue and think every student should have the opportunity to learn. This is my hard earned money and I honestly don't have a lot of it. Don't let it go to waste! Listen to your teacher, go to college, get a job and be successful because I expect every cent back with interest."

"I gave to this project because the work being done by the Teach for America corps in Kansas City and across America is something we should all be proud of. Solving the education inequality gap should be one of the highest priorities of our country. The work being done to solve this by the TFA corps is hard work but will be rewarded when all students have a quality education."
