My incentives program needs 20 assorted resources, including basketballs and footballs, board game sets, flash drives, dominoes, binoculars, arts and crafts supplies and play-doh.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I am a Crisis Teacher in a Special Needs Pilot Program in a high poverty area in New Jersey. Our goal is to help bring back out of district behaviorally challenged students to the public school system.
The students have many behavior problems. We have established a behavior modification system, "On Trac" that helps to promote positive behavior using a reward system for points accumulated daily. As an incentive we would like to be able to allow them to cash in their points for tangible items.
We need incentives to use as rewards for the positive behavior exhibited by the students.
We have seen many positive changes using this system, but it is very costly to sustain such growth.
Your help will be greatly appreciated by myself and my students. This is a chance for them to get back into the general education program and to become productive students.
