Traveling Music a la Cart

My students need a Teach & Go music cart.

I am an elementary music teacher. I have two kindergarten classes that have music in their regular classroom.

Currently, I found an old wooden cart on wheels to bring materials to my kindergarteners. I believe it was used in the hospitals (in the 60s) for food trays. My handy husband painted it a lovely yellow and I'm thankful we found this gem. It works nicely in the music room, but it lacks some features when it comes to traveling. There is not much room on the cart so things have to be piled high on the days I travel to the kindergarten rooms. On the way to the kindergarten rooms I travel down a ramp when the books, big book, instruments, etc. start to slide off my cart. Finally after making it to the outside door my cart bumps along on the concrete walkway--uh oh I have to catch the Ipod and speakers before they crash to the ground! Then through the doors (bump, bump) to the kindergarten wing I go. I've made it!

Oh it would be so nice if I had a big cart to use in their room, plus it would secure things as I travel. Everything I use(Ipod & speakers, materials,Big Book, etc.)would be set up so nicely.
