I tend to be a very tech-savvy teacher and love to incorporate presentations and interactive SmartBoard activities.
Unfortunately, someone broke a window into my classroom over spring break of last year and stole my LCD projector that I use for my SmartBoard. The person was caught, but the equipment was never recovered. We do not have the resources to replace as we are a low income school, and our tech-person did not record the serial number correctly either. Our media specialist has encountered many roadblocks in ordering a new projector so I am hoping through DonorsChoose we can obtain one. We need one LCD projector that will be used on a daily basis with a SmartBoard. I use my SmartBoard for everything from morning messages, to math lessons. It is always awesome to watch my first graders interact with a game or activity on the board. Without an LCD projector the SmartBoard is blank. Your help will ensure that my students get the hands-on and interactive lessons that they need at this age. Children at this age need visual stimulation and nothing in my classroom provides the excitement like an interactive SmartBoard lesson. HIDE My students need a new LCD projector for our SmartBoard.
