" Our public school meets the diverse needs of students who are residing in the inner city in grades K-5 and Special Education.

These impressionable students face the many obstacles of poverty--- broken homes and broken hearts. However, our school offers an "oasis" in the reality of the current socio-economic climate. The students are eager and optimistic about learning. Our students continue to make phenomenal academic strides in all subject areas on state mandated assessments.

The resource, "Classroom Jeopardy" game, that I have requested will challenge the students in a competitive answer - question format. "Classroom Jeopardy", based upon the TV show will be used to stimulate friendly, healthy student competition. For students of all ability levels, competing in the game will sharpen mental skills, promote good sportsmanship, and foster life-long learning. Every student will have an opportunity to compete for fun. The game is another method to motivate, stimulate, and elate the student learner! Everyone hums that tune! Everyone loves to play the TV version of the game! It's addictive. It's time for "Jeopardy"! Yes, the beloved television quiz show that displays the answers and the contestant provides the questions to outsmart their opponents. This game would provide skill review and maintenance.

Your donation will enable the students to enjoy learning in a fun, friendly, and competitive manner. You will make it possible for my students to enjoy using technology to review 5th grade math and science skills. The game would bring the action and excitement of the popular TV game show into our classroom! Everyone will be asking: "Are you smarter than my 5th graders?".

My students need "Classroom Jeopardy" to participate in trivia (mental recall)competition.

Dear Teri and Susan,
I am so excited about the funding of my requested project. The elementary years are so critical in the students' academic and interpersonal development. I am confident that this funded project will help improve students' reading comprehension and critical thinking.

I am most gratified in knowing that this project which you have funded will be used by students now and in the future. Many students will be able to make the most of this technology.

Thank you, for funding "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?" My students will eagerly participate in the activities that your generosity will enable them to experience.

With gratitude,
Mrs. Q.
