It's About TIME For My Kids

My students need 20 copies of Time for Kids magazines.

It's about TIME!! I teach Second grade in an urban school setting. There are many needy students in the classroom. Very few have access to newspapers or any print material. Our budget was cut this year and NO periodicals are being purchased.

This opportunity will give my students the reading AND social studies exposure that they need to stay in touch with current events going on around them. Don't you remember getting those Weekly Readers in school every week? This is like those on steroids!!!

I desperately need a set of these magazines to help teach our social studies curriculum. It will help them to become the citizens of tomorrow by giving them important access to current events of today. Imagine missing something as important as last year's inauguration!

Your help is needed to get my students learning about the world around them. Many of them have no idea about current events or important people that are shaping our world and their future. This will enable them to find great role models in the heroes of today, so that they can be the leaders of tomorrow.
