Our school just celebrated it's 70th anniversary last year, and while it is sweet and very small, lacks a great deal in technology updates. I teach Kindergarten, as well as an Intervention class in the afternoon to help struggling students. I teach all subjects to approximately 20 students, and even though we are moderate poverty, our free/reduced percentage is rising. My children love visiting websites as we find answers to many questions about all of our subject areas, especially in Science. We are able to project these on our computer screen, but at the same time, not everyone can see clearly. (Even with small sized bodies!) With a projector, our lessons could/would be BROADCASTED on a much bigger scale, enhancing the learning process and retention.

The resource we need is an LCD projector.

These children are hungry for technology and the projector would allow for everyone to connect to the web and websites, to search for various topics such as life cycles, seasons, insects, etc., as well as literature connections, on a large screen...large enough for everyone to see! WOOHOO! For each of them to make connections in learning, LIFESIZE (remember they are only five), will help them retain what they've learned throughout not only this year, but coming years.

Your help will make it possible for my students to experience our units of study in a very large format. A format that will not only excite them in targeted academic areas, but also help with technology knowledge...which is their future! HIDE
