My students are very curious and are always wanting to learn more about a subject, especially science. All of my students engage in different learning styles, where I value the use of all five senses to learn about a subject. However, they come from a community where resources for experiences are not available, to a school with little to no funding for exciting hands on materials and information packed books. I am looking to have information packed science books for the students to explore further than our Big Book text book will provide. I am also looking for fun hands on materials that will provide the students for real-life type situations by involving them in activities that they will not be exposed to outside of school. These books and hands-on materials will allow students to use multiple learning styles, i.e. using their five senses to learn about science! As an adult we use our five senses everyday. Many of us experience learning situations everyday. Your donation will empower my students to use their five senses and all their learning styles to discover the wonderful world of science.
