There is so much information that these students need to learn to be successful. For these students in particular it is even harder for them to learn them. The items I am hoping you will help fund are going to make such a difference in their success. One of the items is the Times for Kids Magazine. I feel that these students need to know what is going on in their world. They need to read and have some dialogue on it. The next set of items are workbooks that will help them to review all of the different skills that they need to learn. There is one in reading, math, and my favorite--poetry. The poetry books were a huge success in my classroom last year. They loved to read the different poems and write about them. I am asking that you support these students and help them grow to be wonderful citizens of our country. HIDE My students need 15 Time for Kids magazines, 10 poetry journals, and 20 daily practice journals.
